LogYard is developed as a part of a research project at Chalmers University of Technology and SAFER - Vehicle and traffic safety center. The app is developed in cooperation with Jalp Systems AB.
LogYard is designed to be used in research studies by letting study participants to log their movements while moving. When logging is enabled, accelerometer- gyro-, magnetometer-, position- and velocity data is collected and written to log files. The user can then upload the log files for analysis by researchers. It is also possible to tag events during the logging or add comments to the log files before upload.
Please note that LogYard uses location services to log position- and velocity data. Continuous use of location services may reduce battery life.
